2005 | After abandoning music almost entirely after the sudden loss of our father in 1993, this new piece seems to reflect my mood in rediscovering music all over again; where did you go, why has it been so long. Thus I call this new collection of music "A New Beginning". In the key of B, this piece has been a good exercise in learning all the capabilities of Sonar. This is really only the first half, so expect that it will change soon. This one is for you Dad. |

Locrian |
2005 | This doodle is a first stab at using GigaStudio. As an exercise, I wanted to write something in the Locrian mode. Since it is the seventh mode, I choose 7/8 for the time signature. There is more to this but will have to remain a doodle for now.(This mix has too much reverb; so it sounds best with headphones.) |
